It includes X-ray and ultrasound imaging, and allows examination of internal organs, the locomotor system and blood vessels. In addition to that, radiology is very useful in the treatment of malignant diseases and vascular disorders. Apart from X-ray and ultrasound examinations, you can have a CDFI of the carotid arteries and a TCD (Color Doppler of the carotid and TCD of the vertebrobasilar circulation) – a painless and harmless, but a very useful test taken.
